Martha Falls is a beautiful waterfall located within Mount Rainier National Park in Lewis County. Surrounded by lush old-growth forest, the falls provide a peaceful setting and showcase the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Unicorn Creek flows from Snow Lake, cascading over a lava flow before plunging 125 feet into Stevens Canyon at Martha Falls. The waterfall was named for Martha Longmire by one of her sons while he was working on the Wonderland Trail.
The main waterfall can be viewed from a roadside overlook across the upper end of Stevens Canyon. A higher cascade is visible from the Wonderland Trail, approximately 0.6 miles from where the trail crosses the upper section of Stevens Canyon Road, or 4.2 miles from the Reflection Lakes parking area. Continue another 0.9 miles along the Wonderland Trail to reach Sylvia Falls.
