Ricksecker Point

Ricksecker Point

Ricksecker Point offers one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in Mount Rainier National Park, with sweeping panoramic views of Mount Rainier, surrounding forests, valleys, and rugged mountain landscapes.

The viewpoint is located along a one-way scenic loop between Longmire and Paradise, approximately 6.5 miles from Longmire and 5 miles from Paradise. A convenient pullout includes interpretive panels that explain the area's fascinating glacial history.

Ricksecker Point is accessible by vehicle during the summer season only. The road typically closes from early November through mid-May due to snow, making seasonal access an important part of planning your visit.
